SUMMARY OF WORKING EXPERIENCE

Aarda Clerk:

Making sure all pickers complete their assignments on time to assure 90 to 100% picking rate for shift. Also making sure that the assignment is picked correctly so no errors or discrepancies can occur. Assuring that all picking assignments has been completed before the end of the shift. (Shoprite Brackenfell DC)

Data Capturing:

Capturing all stock packed in truck and creating a Delivery Note on Triceps (Mass Discounters system)

Stock taking:

Investigating of stock on hand, to check for any discrepancies

Reconciliation of all items – physically & captures on system

Verify all captured reports before finalizing stock take process

General Administration:

Filling of documents

Receive and send off faxes & keep record

Take minutes in meetings

Send out notice and agendas for meetings

Responsible for ordering of stationery & distributing

Ensure stock levels of stationery

Ensure that all required documents are signed timeously on a daily basis

Auditing of files of team members (different departments) on a weekly basis and ensure Management view’s and sign’s off all files.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Setting standards and objectives for each member and monitoring their performance.

Working hand on hand with Regional Admin Manager making sure all documents are correct and in place according to company Policies and Procedures, before audits are done by Head Office.

Ensure that all files are in place and no incomplete work is still hanging in system by the end of each day.

Ensure work accuracy are done by team and management.

Site Administrator & Salaries Clerk Responsibility:

Making sure all new employee files/documents are complete, making sure that they have the correct PPE and that a full induction of the site is done before placing them on site. Add them onto a timesheet. When getting to the site a proper handover must be done with the site Manager or Supervisor with regards to all new employees.

Making sure that all new employee files are loaded and scanned onto the system, then all hardcopies are filled.

Ensuring that a rollcall/time and attendance are done daily before 09:00.

Calling employees who are absent for 2days and sending out telegrams after day three with no answers to calls.

Doing weekly stock counts on stationery and PPE and ordering accordingly.

Involve with employee structures and peak season employee increases.

Processing and capturing timesheets and sending them off to HO, getting them back and double checking them with manual timesheets before giving the go ahead for salary pay outs. Making sure that the DC manager approves them.

Dealing face to face with employee needs, such as ordering of PPE, pay queries, HR issues, etc.

Doing weekly site visits with site managers.
