Developed and implemented global communications strategy, infrastructure and tactics from the ground up to drive employee engagement and a positive corporate reputation while bringing the Company’s Purpose, Values and Behaviors and strategic goals to life.
• Successfully positioned internal communications as a driver of engagement and talent retention across the global business – 10, 000 associates in 50 countries with 25 languages commonly spoken. Global Survey results on engagement are 84% – a 10% increase in 2 years.
• Collaborated with the President and L1 team to articulate strategy, record video on sites and create materials that were rolled out globally.
• Partnered with the Marcom team to reposition the ESAB brand internally and externally – communicating a new purpose and brand pillars including video, website, intrant design, social media. Designed and rolled out workshops to all associates by the Communications Champions team – peer to peer.
• Established standards for M&A, engagement, leaders communications and Values and Behaviors. Crafted multi-stakeholder communications on over 15 M&A globally
• Coached and mentoring teams of volunteer Communications Champions from around the business and the world.
• Launched a global intranet serving all business units and global support functions with mini sites resulting in 24 7 news access for associates, including local languages plus English.

• Led a reposition of the Colfax Brand, Purpose and Values, managing stakeholders, case for change and multiple design agencies through to rolling out the repositioned brand via a new global website, social media strategy and owner-brand into platforms and 15,000 associates in 40 countries.
• Designed survey communications for an annual global survey of 15,000 associates resulting in 97% average participation in Howden and ESAB, 84% engagement rate that was higher than industry norm.
