NATRURE OF DUTIES

Project specifications Reviewing, Shell DEP, WPS, PQR, QAP, QCP, Method of statement, ITP, and P& ID (PEFS)

Reviewing the approved quality plans, specifications, and scope of work to perform the required inspection.

Inspection of piping incoming materials in warehouse with acceptance criteria by ASTM codes.

Reviewing the Mill test certificates (MTC) of piping incoming materials.

Verification of isometric drawing with respect to P & ID

Involved in fabrication of piping (Spool Piece & Supports)

Inspection of pipe fit up and visual welding in both area shop and field

Witnessing of pipe internal cleanliness in shop as well as before erection in field.

Witnessing of flange joint assembly and bolt tightening.

Witness of flange face inspection as per project specification and refer the (ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47)

Reviewing the piping test package and Raise the NFI (RFI) for line checking.

Witness of piping test package Hydro Test, pneumatic Test as per project requirement.

Coordinating with client while the inspection is being carried out and offer any clarification is required

Prepare and maintaining various QA/QC documents and final test packages.

Making a reinstatement punch list and clearing the items.

Inspection of gasket, supports, valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance as per the latest drawing for construction codes and specification standards.

Inspection of heat tracing activates as per the drawing and specifications.

Prepare and verify the as built drawing for vendor piping.

Visual inspection of welding and NDT activities.

Inspection of PWHT, PMI and Hardness Testing as per the project specifications and preparing reports.

Witnessing of field valve testing in third party yard through API 598 code.

Review Following Piping ISO Metric Drawings (PEFS, P&ID).

Witness of piping Hydro Test and pneumatic Test /PWHT and Hardness Test as per approved ITP/project specifications and applicable codes and Standards.

Raw material receiving inspection as per ITP / Review the manufacture documents / mill test certificates with respect to type and size Material Identification, witness of positive Material Identification, Mechanical test, and visual inspection.

Witness & coordinate NDT activities MT, PT, UT, UT Thickness Measurement of pipe and piping component (TML). visual inspection of valves and flange face /field valve test inspection.

Aware of international codes, standards, and rules like ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, ASTM, API598, ASME B16.5, ASME SEC V, SHELL DEP.
