Stock Market Portfolio Design – Bull & Bear Jan 2021 – Present Center for Financial Intelligence, GMU, Fairfax VA

● Lead the design efforts targeting web portal experience for Stock Market application for the Center of Financial Analytics and Intelligence Research at Volgenau School of Engineering

● Utilized the Angular UI framework for building the user interface, Flask and MongoDB for the backend whilst strategizing through an iterative process of wireframing and rapid prototyping

● Pioneered the application’s design philosophy, making mockups, conducting usability tests and creating interactive dashboards. Trilingual Hate Speech Detection using BERT Aug 2020 – December 2020 George Mason University, Fairfax VA

● Implemented an NLP based Hate Speech Detection system in an AGILE team collaborating with Product Owner and Scrum team.

● The crux of the system was built in a multi-task deep neural model, to classify the speech primarily Hateful Speech.

● Used BERT model for Feature extraction, fine tuning using regressive analysis of Training data, the dataset was based in three different languages: - English, Hindi and Bengali exploring sentiment features for better identification of the implicit forms of aggression, assisting filtering and removal of criterion using PyTorch. Notepad Application using Cloud Architecture Team Lead Feb 2020 – May 2020 George Mason University, Fairfax VA

● Used Spring Boot framework to create the Notepad to communicate with endpoints using JSON APIs.

● Created a Cloud infrastructure using AWS. The architecture uses a VPC, EC2 instances using AMIs and Packer, with multiple Subnets to hold the application and RDS instances for high availability, wrote and deployed RESTful API for CRUD operations with Lambda and DynamoDB.
