- Designing a bioreactor suitable for conducting medium-scale algae cultivation studies in a side-by-side dual reactor system. The bioreactor will have the capability to connect to a settling system for harvesting and partial dewatering algae cultures.

- Work under the supervision of department professors, assisting doctoral and graduate students. Collecting and analyzing data in the field and laboratory.
- Operate Licor technology to determine oxygen/carbon dioxide levels of crops and measure soil moisture to maximize crop yield.
- Work with the Alabama Extension program to foster energy and fuel efficiency on Alabama farms.
