Gathering business requirements from clients and liaising with developers to produce software that meets the client's business needs
• Testing software to ensure that it is meeting the quality and functional standard expected by the client
• Ensuring that during the System Development Life Cycle, the Agile methodology is complied with as this is the software development method used by our company
• Taking up a scrum master role in some projects to ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively in delivering expected deliverables as per the client’s expectation.

PROJECTS WORKED ON:
SWIFT Fuel and Sales Management System
This is a system that tracks fuel stock and sales for 40 garages/ fuel stations across the country. My Task was to test the different features developed according to the client's needs and ensure that the functionality was operating as expected and also doing some negative test scenarios. There was a service desk online that the client could use to report incidents with a graded priority level. My task was to be on support to ensure that the reported incidents were made a priority by the developers to ensure that business for the client would continue as usual

Praxis
September 2017- February 2018
Praxis was transitioning from using waterfall in software development to Agile. We facilitated that transition for 3 teams that were developing three different system for their clients. We worked with them from the requirements gathering stage right up to the development of the software. We then moved off leading them gradually for them to take on conducting work in an Agile manner and choose their own inhouse scrum masters.

Subjex EdTech Platform.

We developed an online school platform for Subjex, which was in collaboration with Redhill School, publishing Masterclasses taught by renowned IEB syllabus teachers from Redhill School. The platform was meant to provide quality Masterclasses for Grade 12 IEB students to help them prepare for Matric exams this year.

Renal Reality
January 2021- Current

This is a project where we are developing a system with the purpose of centralizing all aspects of kidney care for Health care Providers (Renal Specialists) in New Zealand and Fiji. This system will enable all the relevant Renal care specialists to centralize information on the relevant patient metrics.

PROJECTS WORKED ON AT THE JSE
JSE Equities Clearing System: Enhancements
This is a project I am currently working on where the team and I are developing items left in the backlog after the system was developed about four years ago when the JSE moved from T+5 to T+3. The JSE found that these items would enhance the performance of one of the most core systems in the company and thus put us to task to develop these items and improve operational efficiency and improve system stability.

TCS BaNCs
This was a project led by Strate, the Central Securities Depository for the South African economy. The project was divided into two phases, the JSE was involved in the first phase and with that the core changes were made in the system that my team and l manage: the Equities Clearing System.
The second phase involved the JSE deploying changes to the Fails Management Procedure where multiple exchanges can engage in Fails Management, again with that the core changes were done on the Equities Clearing System, the system that my team and I manage.
