Brief Description: The project involved rehabilitation and upgrading of the 55 km road to a 7m carriageway road with 2m wide shoulders on both sides and the provision of road furniture and road side amenities

Practical experience included

Material testing: Determination of Maximum Dry Density (MDD) and Optimum Moisture Content (OMC); Grading and Plasticity Index determination; Field Density tests by sand replacement method; Tests on Aggregates such as LAA, ACV, Flakiness Index.

Inspection works: Supervision of earthworks, concrete works and laying of pavement layers
