Duties and Responsibilities

My current position has truly elevated my career and responsibility in a government setting being responsible for multiple mis- sion critical and support duties. I currently hold the title of The 158th FW Logistic Readiness Squadron Equipment Program Manager serving all of the review and authorization activity. This role has put me in a supervisory role for accountability of 54 equipment accounts, each having over 100 assets, estimating over 67 million dollars. Part of this supervisory role includes conducting 10% SAV inventories of all 54 equipment accounts evaluating all details of account and solely manage all 6 SPRAM accounts.

The Equipment Manager purchases special items, stores and retrieves various types of reports accounting all equipment assets for proper accountability purposes and analyzes obligations and contractual information ensuring transactions are accurate and in compliance in relation to policy and regulations, during equipment loans and transfers. One of the many other responsibili- ties of this role encompasses overseeing equipment program; all orders, disposal, maintenance, and reporting any discrepan- cies found and correcting all errors. Monthly inventory and reconciliations are conducted to ensure accuracy. In addition, ad- ministratively, I have developed local annual refresher training to all 114 equipment custodians and 6 commanders to accom- modate any supply procedural changes. Delivering briefings, project papers, equipment reports and correspondence to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations are warranted as well on sometimes a daily basis. official records and software data up to date. I also manage individually organized Master Jacket File records for all 54 equip- ment accounts. These files encompassed documentation of movement to other locations, audits conducted, and pertinent in- formation needed per regulation and NGB guidelines. The Equipment Manager also is the acting records liaison with other guard units and National Guard Bureau. Finally, managing workflow to ensure timely processing and ensure compliance is met is a contribution to mission success.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the DIFM monitor I was charged with the management of the DIFM (Due in from maintenance) program for all 40 main- tenance shops. This experience has prepared me for the job announcement because I was continually analyzing data and up- dating files and reports provided to leadership. I used various types of word processing databases, using spreadsheets graphs, and word documents. This position included processing and analyze D18 and M30 reports as well as providing all due out sta- tus’s on current maintenance orders. In this role, I was able to facilitate many improvements to the program with lasting bene- fits. This included DIFM program turn in days from 10 to 3 for all 2-Level Maintenance assets on rosters. I also became the DIFM monitor subject matter expert and was recommended to provide training to other DIFM monitors from other guard units. I strive to constantly contribute to the office workspace, creating new training templates and slides for maintenance personnel to follow for better understanding of the DIFM program and its importance as well as providing cus- tomer service to all maintenance personnel to support F16 mission are just some of many relevant examples.
