Automatic Home Appliances System: The main goal of this project is to develop LDR based home

appliance system using microcontroller (AT89S52). Electrical appliances can be controlled using a touch screen device wirelessly to toggle(on/off) lights, fan, etc. using wireless device within the wireless range.

Key Responsibilities:

Worked on designing the circuit for this project using different components like microcontroller, LM324IC, crystal oscillator, led, capacitor, etc.

Worked on PCB fabrication (layout, etching, soldering) for the circuit design.

M.Tech Dissertation:

Design of Micro-machined Bow Tie Antenna at 60 GHz and 94 GHz for Millimeter Wave Applications

It is a simulated design of bow tie antenna with proper impedance matching is designed along with transition from CPW to micro strip line for proper impedance matching. The different parameters such as radiation pattern, return loss, gain, reflection coefficient, impedance is simulated on HFSS. The improvement in reflection coefficient, higher bandwidth and larger gain is achieved in case of micromachined silicon substrate-based antenna and hence it is proved that micromachined technique is an attractive means for millimeter wave application devices.
