Description:
This project is a web-based temperature monitoring system working with STM32 microcontroller that monitors the temperature of surroundings using temp' sensor (LM35) and displays the temp’ on LCD.
Developed an Embedded C program to read Analog data from temp’ sensor & convert it into digital data using ADC of the Microcontroller.
The temperature sensor is interfaced with the STM32F401RBT6 Microcontroller using GPIO pins. RTC and EEPROM are interfaced to the Microcontroller using I2C protocol
Measured the values along with time-stamp using RTC(IN1307_04), displayed them on 16X2 Monochrome LCD and stored the data in EEPROM (24c04).
Updated the converted temperature value and humidity to cloud using the ESP8266 EX
Wi-Fi module via UART protocol.
Responsibilities:
Studied device datasheets of STM32F401RBxx, 16X2 Monochrome LCD, ESP826690(WIFI Module), 24c04(EEPROM), IN1307_04(RTC), technical reference manual, and understood the functionality, specifications, communication protocols, and interface block diagrams.
Implemented embedded software code on the Keil μ Vision tool 5 and loaded the code on the Raayan Mini customized board (Development board) via ST-Link/V2 Debugger.
Tested the code and the output using ICDI (Implementing an In-Circuit Debug Interface) hardware debugging.
