Technical Environment: Oracle HRMS Applications 11i and R12
HRMS system development:
1. Rewrote some fast formulas to correct Long Term Life Insurance, employee discount, sick accruals rates or issues.
2. Added some attributes to different Oracle HRMS tables by using
flexfields.
3. GL/Payroll weekly Interface: This is to collect a weekly cost on hourly employees and download the file into Oracle Financial GL system.
4. Ehiring: Major role in interface design, development and implementation
by delivering Position Code, User Data and Location to Kronos in XML format, receiving new hire data from Kronos to load into HRMS system.
5. Kronos Timekeeping System: Helped in upgrading from version 5.2 to 6.3. Designed, coded and implemented the employee and accrual interfaces.
6. Bank Prenote Nacha File: Created the interface by using Oracle stored procedures and Unix scripts. The job is run by Payroll user on Concurrent Managers.
7. Configured and created batch file and report for Learning Management System

HRMS system production support:
1. Payroll support: Running queries before and after payroll process.
Help payroll staff to solve setup or data incomplete issues.

against Gross to Net numbers.
2. Help Payroll team to do SUTA Adjustments on quarterly basis
using programs until all the data are clean.
3. Help to solve Oracle HRMS patch causing Sick Absence issue
by writing a work around program.
4. Fixed vacation deduction / benefit enrollment issues by changing
some fast formula and calculation rules.
5. Fixed many stock option related issues by changing parameters
passing to the Oracle packages.
6. Fixed Oracle seeded programs/reports by creating customized
reports or script to adjust the ill data like Confirmation Statement
or Dependent relationship.
Kronos Timekeeping Support:
Daily production support like adding/removing
users, adding new cost center, adding break bell, finding cause for punches
not being accepted issues.
Labor Scheduling: Designed and implemented over 10 screens using
Oracle Apex as front end and Oracle Database as backend. This complicated project covers Edit Current Week Schedule,
Online Sales Forecast Adjustment, Associate Base schedule Entry
and Maintenace, Resequence Zone, Shift Code Maintenace, Reqport Request, Traffic Calculation, store Information, Zone Assignment,
Clockin Authorization, Weekly Schedule Options, Traffic Patterns,
Meal and Break Policy screens. I coded this application using Oracle Apex from scratch without any formal training.
Program Tuning Expertise: I have tuned numerous programs.
One of the key programs was tuned by me to run from 12 hours to 1 hour;
which enables the payroll process to start and end early. I also reduced
the running time of the check writer message program from 4 hours to 25 minutes.
Retek Retail Management System(RMS): Very good on production support
and customized development in POS, price change, promotion, warehouse, PO, transfer, shipping and receiving. I was one of the top level
production supporters in Retek system.
Data warehouse: Created data marts for Oracle Reports and Microstrategy reports.
