1. Project Title : Smart Weather Monitoring System using Bluetooth

Description:

Weather Monitoring Systems are used to monitor the continuously changing climatic conditions. The data gathered by such devices is used to forecast weather as well as keep a log of the environmental changes at a place. Such data is extremely useful in the study of earth and analyzing the changing climatic and environmental conditions at a place. Further, the data and analytics so collected can be utilized in a variety of applications like agriculture, geology, mining and weather forecast. In this project, a simple weather monitoring system is designed which can monitor the temperature and humidity of a place.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Study the basics and terminology about ARM processor and HC05 Bluetooth module from data sheet, user manual.

Finally prepared the device interfacing block diagram.

Enabled MUX configuration, initialized GPIO port, UART and Developed Test application to test the HC-05 Bluetooth module.

2. Project Title : School Bus Tracking With AIS 140 Standard Using RFID

Client : CDAC, Police Academy

Description:

The Embedded System that can trace the location of Vehicle when the School Bus Transportation is designed to help schools ensure the safety of student by tracking his boarding, alighting and security. If any emergency in bus just press SOS button then we can trace the vehicle. GPS based Id card is a Real time location tracking system when the child is on the way to school. It allows attendance in school bus itself with RFID reader in the school bus. Also the parents will get the notification when the child get on/off the school bus. Parents can see the school bus location and they can also get the alert when the school bus is about 10-15 minutes close their house, so that they can come to pick up their children. The whole system will also detect which child is still in the school bus, that can prevent any accident.

A GPS based Id Card also includes a polygon safety zone(Geo-fence) for protecting the child from going out of the school or house area.

Major features:

Real time Tracking.

Speed and Direction of bus.

Status of bus.

Engine diagnostic including battery level and Odometer. User can Record message that will be played in the case of emergency.

The application is activated by a single key press.

The calls are made one after another and pre-recorded message is played.

The application retrieves the location string and sends it as a message to all the selected numbers.
