Junior Stock Controller
Input:
Stock is requested from stores via an IR, I order enough stock to ensure they have the required stock to manage business expectation on all work received. For projects, stock is ordered based on the bill of material and quantity of vehicles.
Activities:
Responsible for stock control on all Stock warehouses for Internal Dealer KZN. Monitor Stock levels per warehouse and ensure stock replenished when necessary. Responsible to ensure the area has sufficient stock to avoid any breaks in service. Ensure all service stock received is accounted for. Weekly recons are to be completed on stock used and aligned with stores on a weekly basis. Ensure stock counts completed weekly /Monthly in according to business deadlines. Ensure Technician SEU stock topped up to avoid break in service. Monthly stock recons completed before deadline. Ensure the stock is accurately picked per order requirements. Pack the stock on the shelf in dedicated marked area. Ensure all Administrative work is completed daily, Example Filing and general adhoc duties. Ensure that the Work area is always clean and neat. Ensure all stock is captured on Salesforce Dealer Portal when received. All serialised stock items on the TR should match the stock received. Any discrepancies are to be immediately reported to the Logistics stock controller and copy the senior stock controller and Internal Dealer Manager to avoid risk of stock accountability. File all TR’S, POD’S and GRN’S for record purpose

I worked as a stock controller where I gained a lot of experience dealing with the different jobs associated with inventory. While a major part of major was taking inventory, ordering, receiving, issuing, receipting, and putting up stock.
