Development of Low Viscous Polymer Rheological Abrasive Media for Nano finishing of July 2016-April 2017 Microholes in drug eluting stents by Abrasive Flow Finishing process (M.Tech Thesis) 1. Developed a low viscous polymer rheological abrasive medium with different composition of abrasive particles capable of finishing of micro holes to Nano-scale. 2. Perform the characterization of the medium using techniques like FESEM, XRD, TGA, FT-IR and NMRS. 3. Performed the CCRD statistical analysis of the medium. 4. Develop an AFM set up to pass the medium through the workpiece. 5. Finishing of the micro holes in drug-eluting stents. Online Detection of Tool Wear in Turning by Acoustic Emission (B.Tech Thesis) July, 2014 - April, 2015 Project involves the use of Acoustic Emission (AE) method for on-line monitoring of Tool Wear in Turning. AE signal parameters like cutting frequency, peak to peak voltage and RMS voltage are measured and correlated with flank wear values. The result has been validated by using surface roughness test machine. CERTIFICATION COURSE
