BE Project: Bluetooth Electric Forklift

Summary:

In this project, we constructed an electric forklift working on motors for mobility as well as the forklift mechanism. The motors were controlled by a control unit consisting of Bluetooth receiver, aurdino board, and a relay circuit. The forklift was operated by connecting to an android device via Bluetooth. The forklift worked completely on electrical energy thereby eliminating pollution and the need of fossil fuels. The future aim is to utilize multiple forklifts working together as a single system under a single control unit in a storage facility for complete automation of the storage and transportation.

Diploma Project: Hybrid Mobility Vehicle (HMV)

Summary:

In this project, we designed and manufactured a hybrid vehicle working both on petrol and electricity. For the dual purpose, both a motor and an engine of equivalent power output were used. The control of engine and the motor were done on each side of the handle. For switching between the motor and the engine a switch was provided. The main objective of the HMV was to introduce a transition between the conventional vehicles and the future electric vehicles and how they could be used together.
