Field Engineer Intern, Mid Coast Transit Project May 2019 - August 2019

●Created takeoffs from plans using Bluebeam and Excel to find material quantities and track project completion

●Consulted with the supervisor and superintendent to create and provide clear step-by-step plans for the foreman to use in their current scope of work that outlined the procedure and equipment required

●Analyzed the budget and production rate of tasks to set certain completion goals for the foreman

●Completed a construction workplan and hosted a Go/No-Go meeting with the quality assurance and quality control teams to enable work on ADL relocation

●Calculated the quantity of concrete required for various concrete structures by taking measurements on the field and ordered the concrete from the suppliers

PROJECTS

ASCE Concrete Canoe Project, CSULB September 2018 - April 2019

●Researched and analyzed the properties of many materials to find the most suitable for the project

●Aided with the design of the canoe hull using SolidWorks

●Worked closely with concrete in batching and testing compressive and tensile strengths while recording results, before ultimately choosing the best mix

Seismic Design Project, CSULB October 2020 - December 2020

Constructed the seismic design spectrum given the specifications and loading values of a multi-story building

Determined the moment frame for the East-West seismic forces and braced frame for the North-South direction by calculating the tributary building weight, the design base shear and the diaphragm design force at each level

Surveying Lab Project, CC May 2018

Calculated elevation difference between two points 1000 feet apart on college campus using a total station

Created a table compiled of results and drafted labelled sketches of the obstacles along the way
