Affective Computing using Speech Processing for Call Centre Applications [IEEE Publication]

• Improved the performance of Human-Machine interaction by detecting the affective states of the call-centre customer using phase derived features which included a unique combination Group delay, Phase delay, OSALPC and Residual Phase.

• Performed a comparative analysis using Neural Networks techniques, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K Nearest Neighbor (KNN) to detect 7 affective states.

• Used a total of 327 affect samples for this unique work that outperforms the existing ones by a factor of 10% and contributed for it to get published in ICACCI under Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). (click here)

• Achieved a total recognition accuracy of 90.08% using the proposed algorithm with an individual recognition rate of 100% for anxiety, boredom, sad, neutral affective states and 88.9% for happy and anger. ACADEMIC PROJECTS:

• Developed a real-time chat application using React, NodeJS and Socket.io.
