CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

INTERNSHIP (2014-2015)

• Completed rotating Internship (Post MBBS) from a 2000 bedded superspeciality hospital mainly catering to rural and low socioeconomic patients.

• I have also worked in various state Government run Healthcare setups and speciality centres for specific diseases like Tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS during that period.

SPECIALITY TRAINING (2016-2019)

• I have completed 3 years of post graduate training in the department of Anaesthesiology and critical care medicine from 2016 to 2019 in a 500 bedded Multispeciality hospital.

• My role as resident involved training in operative anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine.

• I have experience in anaesthetic management of patients undergoing elective surgeries under the departments of general surgery, orthopedics and trauma, obstetrics and gynaecoloy, otorhinolaryngology, Urology, Neurosurgery, Oromaxillo facial surgeries, surgical gastroenterology, paediatric surgery, surgical oncology.

• I have been trained in anaesthetic managemet of surgical emergencies such as trauma, neurosurgical emergenciecies, GI surgical emergencies, Obstetric emergencies.

• I have also had subspeciality anaesthetic management experience in the following departments

• Neuro anaesthesia – 1 month

• Cardiac anaesthesia- 1 month

Teaching experience: Taught Graduate tainees, junior residents in the department and also to OT technicians/Staff and providing BLS training to the Hospital Staff. ONCOANAESTHESIA (2019-2020)

I have experience of working in a state government run superspeciality oncological institute. It is one of the premier oncological centres in the country. I have worked as a part of a 15 member team managing 12 operating theatres, 12 bedded surgical ICU, and out of OT anaesthesia units such as Radiodiagnosis, Radiothepy, etc.

The department of Oncoanaesthesia manages elective and emergency surgical cases under the departments of surgical oncology, Head and neck Surgery, Gynaecological Oncolgy, Plastic Surgery, etc.

We also provide anaesthetic Management for laparoscopic oncosurgeries, Laser surgeries and robotic surgeries

WE also provide remote anaesthesia facilities in the department of Radiodiagnosis, especially for paediatric patients and in the department of Radiotherapy for procedures such as intracavitary Brachytherapy, etc.

The operating theatre complex includes a 15 bedded surgical ICU for the management of post op recovery of patients undergoing major Oncosurgeries. KEY SKILLS
