Zee Laboratories Ltd has six manufacturing units. Four are for Pharmaceutical Finished Formulations, one for packaging and one for pet bottle.

Job profile:

I was based in Yangon.

Looking after sales and marketing operation of Myanmar and Laos

Developing distributor network in Myanmar and Laos for generic, prescription and OTC products.

Appointed three more new distributors in Myanmar and one new distributor in Laos. Registration of new products is a continuous process with both existing and new distributors.

Have developed separate sales team of parent company to promote brands for prescription generation from doctors and promote OTC brands

I am a registered Pharmacist with PMPB of Malawi. I was looking after sales and marketing of Pharmaceutical formulations and other medical products.

Importing medicines, medical equipments, hospital furniture, surgical items and lab reagents from different countries. Custom clearance of goods

Proper storage of vaccines, serums, oncological drugs in cold storage room and storage of other medical products in temperature-controlled warehouses

We were the sole distributors of more than thirty Pharmaceutical companies. I had to look after product registration & other regulatory matter of these companies with Pharmacy Board

Shely’s Pharmaceutical is owned by ASPEN group of South Africa and is the biggest pharmaceutical company in Africa. ASPEN group has five manufacturing units in South Africa, one in Tanzania (Shely’s Pharma) and one in Kenya (Beta Healthcare).

Accomplishments:

•To look after sales of Tanzania and export in other African countries (OTC, Branded & Generic products)

•Co-ordinate factory visit by regulatory bodies of different countries

For product registration, submission of registration dossier with samples and packaging materials with different Pharmacy regulatory authorities of different countries
