My IT and leadership skills were acknowledged and was asked to become interim Supv IT Specialist since November. Officially in role since 1/20/20.

Observe and monitor the management and maintenance of all computer hardware, software, and telecommunications in the Regional Census Center (RCC) and Area Census Office (ACO).

Responsible for the configuration of new equipment and installation or upgrade of both hardware system and application software. • Monitor the operational and technical support activities of the RCC and ACO.

Serves as the liaison with contractors Field Data Collection Automation (FDCA) vendor representatives, Data Capture Centers, and Headquarters automation staff to ensure a wide range of procedural and administrative automation systems are integrated into the Decennial Census.

Supervise a subordinate staff (20 staff members) performing distribution, inventory control, and the return of mobile computing equipment at the beginning, throughout, and close of each automated operation. This accounts for over 500,000 cell phones, laptops and tablets.

Delegate work to subordinates based on the difficulty of the assignments and each employee's capabilities.
