Sr. Software Engineer: The UPS Store Headquarters, Technology Dept (San Diego, CA) (Current Job – Started on Apr 2016)

I have worked on multiple applications during the five-year period. The applications worked on are Unified Package Management, Team Portal, Enterprise Application, Enterprise Messaging, Enterprise Web, CAMS, FRS, GSR and Center Evaluations.

CAMS: Corporate Accounts Management System. This system was designed for the workflows to be published to the 5000 centers across USA. I worked on the following processes of this client/server application.

oCAMS UI for processing packages for clients like Apple, AT&T, Cox, Comcast etc..,

oIntegrating these clients with the intermediate services and post data using Web API.

oBill my account feature for corporate clients like Apple.

Technologies like ASP.NET/C#, MVC, Web API, AJAX, jQuery, WCF, Windows service, and SQL Server were used to build websites and processes for the above projects. Enterprise architecture was used to implement the common features for the applications. Some of the common features were authentication, logging, messaging, security, IO, Web Framework, controls etc...

I built a mobile app for tracking the inbound/outbound packages by scanning. This was built using Xamarin, Azure App Service and Azure storage.

I build a POC for migrating CAMS over to the Azure Cloud. The Technologies used were ASP.NET Core, Web API, Web App, Azure Web Jobs, Storage Queues, Azure functions and Table storage using Cosmo DB.

Sr. Software Engineer: Paychex (San Diego, CA) Oct 2014 to 2016

JobServer/BackServer: I worked on JobServer/BackServer that is used to build feeds that supply client’s staff data of the benefits to the major insurance companies (Bluecross/Metlife/Hartford). Also worked on BackServer which is the application that does coordination and run JobServer.

EOI: We built a WCF service with Guardian to process EOIs (Evidence of Insurance). The process involved submitting xml data of the pending coverage of the employee’s life insurance to the guardian system. Windows identity foundation was used for security.

The legacy applications were re-designed and replaced with the SOA process. The windows service components were created to streamline the process and increase performance. The conversion to a ASP.Net/C# code base allowed all additional improvements like hard error resolution, improved logging, built in metrics for monitoring, and architectural process improvements like asynchronous in-line purging, faster data access (improved ADO.Net and DAL architecture), and other processing (threading and 64-bit native processing). It also involved optimizing Nightly Jobs and stored procedures that runs based on priority. Web services, Queue processor and Delivery processor using service components.

Sr. Software Engineer: Nasoft USA (San Marcos, CA) Dec 2004 to Sept 2014

NasoftUSA Inc. is a software provider for RELS which is leading company in Real Estate Industry that provides property appraisals to the major lenders (Wells Fargo) in USA. Below are some of the major projects that I worked at NasoftUSA.

PartnerConnect: This is the 2-way interface for xml http posting of appraisal orders and delivery of product to the clients. Wells Fargo Lending Grid submits the Appraisal Request to PartnerConnect. SOA was used to implement multiple service components to facilitate this.

UCDP: Implemented the electronic collection of appraisal report data to send to the Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs), Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, using the Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP), which is a portal for the electronic submission of appraisal data files. This was the GSE conformance requirement. WCF was used to implement this.

ProCollateral: MVC Website used by the appraisal quality department to review appraisal issues. Supports multiple roles. JQuery, JQGrid, AJAX, Communication Templates, Menu Authorization, Asynchronous Processing thru Application Layer, Telerik Spell Checker and HTML Editor were used.

ProManager: MVC3 Website used by Help Desk to administer ASP.NET Membership accounts. JQuery, AJAX, JQuery, Bootstrap, Partial Views, Inversion of Control, Repository, Adapter and Specification Patterns were used.

ProQuality: Web Forms website used by the vendor to validate the appraisal before submission. UI Framework was used to implement generic MVC modules.

Order Assignment workflow: Windows Workflow Architecture was used for implementation.

FormsServer/FormsManager: The property appraisal reports were built as re-usable blocks thus reducing the development time. The MISMO XML Mapping was used to maintain each form field. Support for Form/Unlock/Transfer, Preview were provided. FormsTemplate were used to keep track of a particular change in the Form Manager. Forms Publication service was used for deployment. ASP.Net/C# and MVC was used to implement this.
