Interacted with client on daily basis to pen down the concerns which are hindering plant commissioning activities, planned the path forward on how to assess and resolve the design discrepancies. Revisited, validated and revised the process calculations; Participated in revised PHA studies for the systems and modified the P&IDs to reflect the design changes complying safety and operability of the plant with MOC. Participated in PSSR to ensure that installations meet the original design and operating intent.

Worked in LNG plant Start-up operations, monitoring the plant and instructing the panel operators from the process point of view to achieve safe and smooth production. Analyze the flagged issues during ramping up (train start-up), normal operations; provided temporary modifications when required without having a breach in the production and rectify the issues for permanent solution. Performed the Plant performance tests (PPT) and demonstration tests by obtaining the operations data from PI tool.

Worked in FEED, EPC, Commissioning and Start-up phases of the projects.

Worked as responsible engineer for Chart Technology (IPSMR®) Mixed Refrigerant Liquefaction and Compression Unit, Catalytic Hydro desulfurization Unit, Residual Fluidized Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) Unit.

Developing and Managing PFDs, P&IDs, Line lists, HMB, Equipment and Relief Valve datasheets.

Performed Hydraulic Calculations extensively to size the Lines, Control Valves, Pumps, Compressors; Performed Complex Network Hydraulics for Product Stripper bottoms pump, Hot Oil Circulation pump, Fire Water distribution, Fuel Gas distribution, Ammonia Acid Gas distribution using Pipeflo and Pipenet.

Participated in HAZOP review meetings; actively worked with other engineering discipline team mates and clients for the closure of HAZOP action items and parking lot items. Participated in internal and Client 3D Model Reviews.

Performed flare network analysis for sizing Dry, Wet, and Acid Gas headers; and performed AIV/FIV analysis to protect the downstream low-pressure systems using Flarenet; prepared detailed reports highlighting the concerns and resolutions.

Validated the licensors process documents like PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment Process datasheets, operating and design conditions. Performed equipment sizing for drums and vessels, residence time and vapor-liquid disengagement calculations, and nozzle sizing.

Performed Pressure Relief Analysis for RFCC Main Fractionator, Debutanizer, Depropanizer, Deethanizer systems; prepared the rationale for the upset scenarios and sized the relief devices for adequacy.

Worked as offshore Topsides Facilities Engineer. Interacted with client Flow Assurance regarding the different modes of reservoir and well operations; utilized Pipeflo to designed the pigging oil control valves and the topsides choke valve; Participated in the vendor meetings and prepare MR for relief valve quotation.

Worked closely with control systems engineering teammates on day to day basis, gained knowledge on process control logics, PLCs, cause and effect diagrams, and SIL calculations SIEMENS ENERGY INC, HOUSTON, TX August 2011- July 2015 Roles: Process Safety Engineer, Process Engineer

Projects: XOM Joliet Refinery, BP Rotterdam Refinery, Shell Pipeline, Sinclair WY Refinery, Tesoro Salt Lake City Refinery

Worked at EMRE (Exxon Mobil Research and Engineering), did revalidation study on Pretreater unit and Flare mitigation study for the entire refinery. Worked on the flare loads mitigation study for the controlling global scenarios and achieved more than 50% of load reduction to flare. Reviewed the unit dynamic simulation reports as a source for mitigation study. Redlined the P&IDs and worked with the cost estimation team to determine the cost of the CAPEX project. Participate in the weekly meeting with the client to discuss about the project updates and concerns.

Performed Equipment Based Pressure Relief Analysis (EBPRA) for Distillate Hydrotreater Unit, Pretreater, Crude Unit, Pipeline Pumping station, Debutanizer system, Tankage. Utilized Siemens proprietary tool PSPPM for the analysis and reporting purposes.
