The University of Tulsa, Tulsa, OK, USA

Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, GPA: 3.25/4 December 2018 Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, GPA: 3.6/4 December 2020 Thesis topic: Effect of inorganic contaminants, special blends and tube material on fouling rate of vacuum resid Relevant Courses: HYSYS Modelling, Petroleum Refinery Design, Advanced Chemical Reactor Design, Natural Gas Plant Design, Process Component Design, Petroleum Economics and Property Evaluation EXPERIENCE

Research Assistant, Dr. Mike Volk, Delayed Coking Project Jan. 2019- Dec. 2020

Student Researcher, Dr. Amaka Waturuocha, Delayed Coking Project Sept. 2017- Dec. 2018

Laboratory Assistant, Dr. Dale Teeters, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry June 2017 COMPLETED PROJECTS

Fouling in Delayed Coking Furnaces: Operated and maintained a pilot-scale unit; Monitored and adjusted the unit operation to maximize efficiency; Collected and analyzed experimental data and came up with novel conclusions about the effect of furnace tube metallurgy on the fouling phenomena.

Effect of blending order on the characteristics of vacuum resid used for evaluating delayed coker heater and drum performance: Received a grant from the University of Tulsa to conduct a small scale atmospheric and vacuum distillation of pure crude oils to study the difference, if any, in physical/chemical properties of the vacuum resid obtained by blending before or after distillation. Confirmed the accuracy of the data provided by the research facility to their clients.

Biological life support systems for long-range travel (NASA project): researched in the literature the necessary criteria for algal growth. Developed mathematic model for photosynthetic biomass growth in a bioreactor.

Design of a natural gas plant: Used HYSYS software to design and enhance a natural gas plant with a cryogenic propane cooler. Completed and evaluated costs of the equipment and operations. Came up with a modification of the final design decreasing the operating costs by 30%.

Design of a propylene fractionation system: Led a team of 4 members to model a propylene fractionation system utilizing HYSYS platform.

Permian Prospect project: assessed the decline curves and conducted an economic analysis for a group of unconventional wells located in the Permian Basin. Created a VBA code to assess the future similar ventures.

Analysis of thermal degradation of polyethylene: used Thermal Gravitational Analysis and Differential Scanning Calorimetry to study thermal degradation of polyethylene at various conditions. Developed an efficient way of organizing the stored data with TRIOS software. SPECIAL SKILLS

Languages: Fluent in English, Spanish and Russian

Computers: HYSYS, VBA, TRIOS, Python, Microsoft Office, Simulink, Polymath Others: Data Analysis and interpretation, strong communication skill- written & oral, hands-on pilot unit operation experience
