Responsibilities:

Wind turbine generator routine Inspection for 100 MW and 39.6 MW power plant, machine model V82(1.65 MW) and V110(2 MW), The inspections are visually inspect and test the emergency push buttons, shock sensor, test all processor back up batteries in all cabinets, test of heating elements, check the pitch motor controls, replace the safety system battery, check the heat element in bus bar cabinet, test the main circuit breaker, lubricate and grease the circuit breaker, examine the capacitors in the convertors, check the settings of timer for temperature control device, visually check the slip ring unit for damage and excessive dust, measure and replace the brushes in the slip ring unit, etc..,

Wind turbine generator monitoring such as temperature of all cabinets, generator, gear box, hub and pitching system. Check the pressure for blade pitching movement and check the all safety system.

Attend schedule service every six months once as per following points check the safety systems, HV switch gear trip buttons, rotor locking system, check the controller and converter system, check the gear box and oil system, check the generator and coupling system, check the cooling and conditioning system, check hydraulic and yaw system, check the tower and nacelle system, check the service lift and service crane and check the high voltage system etc..,

Attend breakdowns as per error code document and procedure along with safety

Attend turbine monitoring alerts as per the priority level, If the alert is red level should attend and solve the problem and maintaining turbine monitoring alert level is zero in our site

P to C means power to customer curve need to enter daily generation details and shadow data to P to C software for getting the final curve to analysis the efficiency of the wind turbine generator.

Routine tools inspection used to torqueing the tower joints, bottom angers, Nacelle to tower joints and nacelle to Hub joints. Greasing tools, Transformer checking tools, etc.., Check the calibration dues of PPE and all calibrated tools.

Waste management system as per ISO14001 need to dispose the service wastages and prepare the document for waste management.
