I am L. R. Vishwanath, former Additional Director General (Retd)
from North East Zone (Guwahati), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Prior to my superannuation, I was heading Regional Outreach Bureau (Field Offices) of Eight Stations in the North East including Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Arunachal Pradesh.

I have been actively involved with cultural organizations and movements to promote values and cultures of Sanatana Dharma and I am an Asthana Sangeeta Vidwan in Music from Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham and have an experience of over 33 years heading Government of India organizations in various capacities.
3. I intend putting my rich experience to further the cause of Music Therapy in your esteemed institution.
4. I have also authored a book on “Musical Therapies”, the forward of which has been written by the great management exponent Dr.Mrityunjay B. Athreya, and Introductory Message by the Hon’ble Governor of Assam, Prof.Jagdish Mukhi. The book was launched on 30th July 2020 in Guwahati (Assam) and is also available in Amazon. 5. I have been integrating Music
andHeath (Physical, Mental,
Emotional, Conjugal, Digital, etc.) as
a Music Therapist and performing
musician with an “A” Grade in
Hindustani Music from All India
Radio .
These cultural activities has been
parallel to my career as a civil
servant for the last three decades. Very recently a “Musical Therapies” book was launched on 3th July 2020 which was released with a foreword by Padma Bhushan Dr Mrityunjay B Athreya, Ph. D (Harvard). The said book is available in Amazon. Introductory Message on the book “Music Therapies” from Prof.Jagdish Mukhi, Hon’ble Governor of Assam. Last appreciation letter dated 23.07.2020 prior to superannuation in July 2020 was received from then Chief Information Commissioner, Shri Bimal Julka There are many more musical therapies in the pipeline and have also authored a book on the subject and is under print.
