(13 JUL 2018 to 20 OCT 2020): For Efkon’s projects at Hyderabad, he was managing inter-disciplinary teams of engineering professionals in installation and maintenance of TMS at nineteen complex interchanges, and integrated corridor management with HTMS on ORR, Hyderabad. Developed strategic

relationships with Government officials in a more client-facing role.

Participated in meetings and negotiations with regulatory agencies.

Directed problem resolution for transportation challenges. Ensured

implementation/ up-gradation of systems so as to ensure accurate and consistent KPI reporting. He has demonstrated his deep involvement in determining the company’s values, setting high ethical standards and inculcating discipline, honesty&integrity.

Achievements:

While the company was experiencing adverse IR conditions that was the result of insecurities caused by suspension of tolling operation on DND Flyway w.e.f. 26 Oct 2017, using communication and sensitivity as

key elements at every stage, effectively executed reduction of on-roll workforce by about 70%. Devised alternate hiring strategies and ensured compliances.

Successfully accomplished Employee Assistance Program (EAP) i.e. short-term counseling and assessment sessions for staff members dealing with the emotional stresses resulting from the change in job status, and who were concerned about colleagues who were proceeding on VRS or experiencing a change.

Reviewed and monitored all budget expenditures and ensured professionalism in executing all Contracts, MoU and Agreements with stakeholders and clients.

Continuously, interpreted financial data and drew conclusions to analyse operating cost and efficiency.

Productively implemented credible cost reduction measures, reduced the annual budget for F.Y. 2017-18 by about 50% and sustained it through the year.

Achievements:

Set high performance standards that changed the pace and quality of people’s efforts in the company. By setting goals that won’t allow anyone to forget how tough the competitive arena is, brought in progressive change in the work-culture in the company.

Set up plan that kept the same volumes of bus commuters, but cut base cost levels 9% below the previous year’s, instead of accepting suggestions about expecting rise with volume, thus forcing the Operation and Maintenance departments to strive to achieve it.

Set tight deadlines for enhancing achievable mileage of buses, cutting down revenue losses incurred by conductors and enforced stringent coordination between Operation and Maintenance

departments so as to minimize Trip loss/ K.M. loss.

Maintained balance between centralization and decentralization, the role of line and staff, the kinds of rewards that would motivate people to achieve their goals, thus making the Nagpur City Bus Services by

ITNL a different – and better experience for the public.

Treating competitiveness gaps in public transport service in Nagpur as crises, he closed those gaps on priority. Then he applied strategic vision that took into account the city’s public transportation industry, daily commuters’ behavior amidst the typical competitive

Ensure timely provisioning of rolling stock by Indian Railways for speedy movement of all types of secured transportation of personnel, stores & materials, and equipment etc. during operational exigencies as well as for routine requirements of Indian Armed Forces.

Maintain close liaison with senior Railway officials, local Armed Forces Headquarters, Strategic Movement Control Group Headquarters to ensure high KPIs.

Overall planning, coordinating, scheduling and organizing timely maintenance of rolling stock and its availability within the zone of operational requirement.
