Hurricane Relief 2018
As a volunteer, I delivered medical attention and basic need to those affected by the hurricanes all over the island. Wounds care, medication administration, medical evaluation and triage were provided.
ACEP Puerto Rico POCUS Course 2018
Associate facilitator of a POCUS workshop for the medical staff as part of the course provided by ACEP Puerto Rico. Medical staff learned about the theory and application of POCUS examination in the emergency department through conference and hands on practice lab.

Neonatal Resuscitation Associate Facilitator ACEP Puerto Rico 2017
Associate facilitator in a neonatal resuscitation workshop. Physicians were presented simulated cases of a neonate in acute distress and were taught how to manage neonatal emergencies and team organization.
Trauma Associate Facilitator ACEP Puerto Rico 2017
Associate Facilitator in a major trauma resuscitation workshop. Physicians were presented simulated cases of patients involved in major trauma from GSW to MVC, and these were designed to teach the medical providers how to manage trauma patients following the ATLS protocol and team building.
Co-coordinator of Prehospital Protocol for Pediatric Shock 2015
Developed a pre-hospital treatment protocol for pediatric shock to be used by paramedics from EMS San Juan for the management of the patients presenting with this condition.
