Duties and Responsibilities: (Safety Supervisor)
Reports to and assists the Project Safety Manager in the overall implementation of approved Project Safety Program. With a primary function of performing continuous monitoring at work site to ensure continuing conformance of field work force with all relevant safety, health and security requirements/programs and develop specific to project safety action plan, training materials to enhance safety awareness, education and competency of the employees.

Liaises with the Client Site Safety Representative(s) and other plant concerned authorities or contractors on work related safety requirements at site.
Carries out daily site surveys to ensure: only safe work methods are in operation, adequate fire and fall protection are in place, adequate welfare and first aid facilities are properly maintained, approved tools are being used and sufficient Personal Protective Equipment provided and properly worn.
Closely monitors scaffold erection / dismantling work, permit-required confined space entries, crane work / lifting operations, hot work, and. ensures that all relevant requirements was complied with.
Checks and ensures compliance of site work force with the approved Safe Work Permit System / Procedure at site.
