Project Name – Item Processing Optimization (IPO)

Item Processing Optimization (IPO) is the integration layer (application) that connects between several internal and external components. IPO consists of several modules within it and each of them act as an independent component. The IPAS (Item Processing Application Services) layer consumes the services from CIS and Splunk via SNET and Http Event Collector resp.

Common Framework for iPAS Layer is a package that serves as a base for other layers with in the solution. This is an in house developed customized framework for the purpose of logging (flat file), exception handling and factory creation via unity. Other components with in the iPAS Layer must consume the framework package for development activities. This layer is collection of reusable software components designed to assist software developers with common enterprise development cross-cutting concerns, such as logging, validation, data access, exception handling etc.

iPAS layer is developed using dependency injection framework pattern. DI is a technique whereby one object supplies the dependencies of another object. With DI, the code is loosely coupled, code is manageable for future changes and provide better unit testing.

Project Name – CRS Infrastructure Stabilization

The Commercial Relationship system, or CRS, is SunTrust’s commercial database. It’s an in-house developed mainframe DB2 and .net online system which pulls together different accounts information from SunTrust’s different application systems. It also pulls other information about the accounts and products used by different commercial client. CRS also houses commercial non-client (suspects, prospects and rejects). These clients are called as entities and each CRS entity has a unique CRS Number identifier.

The CRS application consists of three online components i.e. RMS, CRS Online and CCO.

RMS is client desktop application which provide different features like tagging, transferring of accounts. CRS Online is a web application that provides account and product information for CRS entities.

CCO is also a web application that provides capability to make changes to relationship managers, officers and cost centers at the relationship and account level.

All these three components were developed in 1.1 .net framework using C# and vb.net

which is no longer supported by Microsoft. These applications as exists today are almost 10 years old and cannot be used as a Master Data solution for wholesale clients due to some limitations and will be a huge risk and non – compliance to banking systems security and scalability.

As a Technical Lead, responsible for migration of legacy application(s) to latest .net framework 4.6.1. by replacing remoting with WCF and Infragistics controls to asp.net in built controls.

CBM is an integration project of Common Wealth Bank of Australia based on SOA architecture where web services are called from different systems like SAP, Mainframe, BizTalk etc. Common wealth bank of Australia is one of the largest nationwide bank in Australia. The aim of the project is to modernizing the bank telling system. Basically, getting the data from legacy system i.e. mainframes systems and changing it to the form of SAP responses in XML format using XSLT. Once the formatted XML is generated it is then processed through C# code where complex business is applied based on business requirements. Different channels like CommSee, CommBiz, Finest, IVR etc., all communicate with bank systems through the common IFW SOA layer.
