Genuine Parts Corporation- NAPA Auto Parts May 2008- Present Under Car Assistant Category Manager/Import Buying Manager April 2016-Present Duluth, Georgia

• Overseeing the daily purchasing activities for the Genuine Parts Corporation’s Automotive Parts Group Under-Car Division, for 53 NAPA Distribution Centers nationwide.

• Directly responsible for increasing DC service levels from 92.24% in 2016 to 95.88% presently (yearly average). This was achieved by altering order days to lower lead times, working with vendors to improve on order turnaround and transit times.

• Work closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager and Inventory Control Manager from each DC to ensure their operation is running optimally

• Increased the purchasing volume of this department from $525MM in 2016 to a current value of $675MM. This is derived of goods from both domestic and international vendors. The amount has increased through additional programs that has improved sales incrementally and the addition of new SKUs from partnering vendors.

• Increased corporate DC turnover from 2.6 times to 3.4 times per year from 2016 to present by implementing optimum vendor order cycles and utilizing Service Investment strategies, in an industry where the average is less than 2

• Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of 6 Replenishment Analysts to ensure they are completing their orders, making lead time adjustments, managing aging orders and answering the needs of the DC’s order requests.

• Run system filters, order checks and forecast exceptions to obtain proper forecasting, resulting in orders that are appropriate for each DC

• Utilizing the corporate Excess Inventory Reduction program, to reduce our corporate purchasing needs by creating DC to DC transfers. This has resulted in a net purchasing savings of approximately $25MM/year.

• Currently responsible for inventory fill from our international vendors to a newly created distribution center in Qingdao, China. This DC adds an additional $12MM in annual inventory and turns 6 times. This responsibility includes both inbound purchasing from our vendor partners, as well as the outbound inventory movement to 24 of our domestic NAPA DCs across the country. • Implemented and trained Buyers on a new ordering system that allowed for less time within a purchase order while still maximizing order needs. This allowed our Buyers extra time to utilize other reports that resulted in greater functionality along with higher KPI results. Within 12 months, order processing time dropped by 20% and service levels increased from 87.26% to 89.94%. DC turns increased from 1.4 to 1.9 times within the same time period.

• Increased purchasing volume of department from $385MM to just over $525MM in 2016. New programs, increases in company sales and added SKUs accounted for the increase.

• Increased service levels from 89.94% to 92.24% within the following 45 months. DC turns increased from 1.9 turns to 2.3.

• Applying empirical and historical data to make determinations regarding category/SKU forecasting as it relates to purchasing on a weekly/monthly/seasonal basis. Using weekly sales history and having up to 7 years of prior history, we were seeing patterns in sales that allowed us to take advantage of monthly and weekly trends in the geographical area of an individual DC.

• By utilizing Service Investment Strategies, we were able to better determine if it was cost effective for a particular DC to handle a smaller amount of inventory many times or a larger amount fewer times. This implementation saved our DCs on put away labor costs and check in times.

• Overall responsibility for ensuring on time deliveries

• Maintain and foster relationships between corporate and distributions center, as well as, between corporate and vendors

• In September 2013, given added responsibility for procuring orders and negotiating discounts for direct international purchasing to our domestic DCs. This resulted in an additional $65MM in order responsibility creating additional net profit $9.6MM annually. The results of this program enticed the company to invest in a wholly owned DC in Qingdao, China.
