Mr. Peabody has over thirty five years of electrical and instrumentation

engineering experience, possessing excellent management and supervisory skills with proven ability to execute projects of all types, from small in-plant projects to large capital projects, coordinate staff, develop and implement programs which contribute to overall operational effectiveness.

His experience has been associated with the heavy industrial facilities, municipal, mining, federal and public sector. Mr. Peabody has been responsible for the planning, development and design of electrical, instrumentation systems. Activities included preliminary investigations, scope development, feasibility studies, detailed design drawings, specification development, construction estimating, value engineering and recommendations. Additionally, Mr. Peabody has acted as the Owner’s agent in the construction administration phase. This included shop drawing review, change order processing, change order review, recommendation, inspection, punch list and starting of systems. Mr. Peabody has been involved with the designs of various systems and processes presently utilized in municipal, mining and industrial facilities and wastewater treatment plants. His design approach is to coordinate with key process operational personnel and develop the process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) drawings. The P&ID drawings typically depict all of the major components, instruments and sensors in the industrial facility. These instruments include flow, pressure, level and analytical transmitters. (Electrical Engineer) The Purpose of this Task Order was to design and prepare construction documents for the process of collection, storage, and handling of spent deicing fluid. The project included two storage tanks, two mixing pumps, three lift station pumps, and multiple slide gates and valves for fluid routing. This project was part of a Program of projects for the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Royal Saudi Air Force, Saudi F-15 Fleet Modernization Program- Munitions Storage Area, Various Locations, Saudi Arabia (Electrical Engineer) Developed the electrical and telecommunications plans for an array of munitions storage magazines for the RSAF. This project is in progress.

New York City Department Of Environmental Protection, Port Richmond Wastewater Treatment Plant, Staten Island, NY (Electrical Engineer). Project responsibilities included providing electrical and instrumentation technical support during construction. New York City Department Of Environmental Protection, East Branch and Portions of Newtown Creek Enhanced Aeration, Staten Island, NY (Electrical Engineer). Project responsibilities included providing designs and specifications for station upgrades and the installation of three blowers.

$10 million Fluff Pulp Facility comprised of reviewing extensive vendor electrical drawings, installing and connecting a new MCC and several vendor supplied control cabinets.

Ciba Specialty Chemicals, New PMG Facility, Macintosh, AL (Lead Instrumentation Engineer) Project responsibilities of $18 million PMG Facility included utilizing Intergraph Intools Instrument software to produce instrument specifications, an instrument index and instrument loops, using Foundation Fieldbus and AS-I buss networks for majority of the instrument connections, and installing a Fisher Delta V DCS. Ciba Specialty Chemicals, New Effluent Facility, Macintosh, AL

(Electrical Engineer) Project responsibilities included electrical construction supervision and start-up of effluent treatment facility which met all production rates. This led to more work performing all design, construction and start-up of in-house electrical projects at a 1200 employee chemical plant.

Ciba Specialty Chemicals, New Isophorone Facility, Baton Rouge, LA

(Lead Instrument Engineer) During work on a $25 million Isophorone Facility, project responsibilities included utilizing Rebis P&ID & Instrument software to produce P&ID’s Instrument Specifications and Instrument Index, preparing work estimates, developing control strategies and P&ID’s in the conceptual phase the chemical plant expansion. Instrumentation Specifications comprised of evaluating bids and purchasing instruments, and checking drawings in the detailed engineering phase of a $15 million manufacturing plant.

Designer: Project responsibilities included redesigning malfunctioning hazardous waste incinerator bringing it up to operating specifications which yielded the following improvements: refractory system in a rotary kiln resulted in increased refractory life by 1000%, redesigned bearings on a 600 HP fan resulted in increased bearing life by 200%.
