SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Having almost nineteen (19) years of professional experience in engineering, thirteen (13) years of which are in Piping Engineering and Design of oil & gas and petrochemical projects. My duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Review project specifications, technical practices, design instructions, plot plan, and flow diagrams. Develop piping layout and detailed design using Plant Design System (PDS) and Smart Plant 3D (SP3D). Also skilled with the use of LFM and Smart Plant Review. Prepare isometric drawings, stress and material sketches. Perform squad checks with other disciplines, modeling of supplier/mechanical equipment drawings. Supervision of Areas comprising of Process and pressure vessels and Rotating equipment.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
FLUOR DANIEL Inc. Phils.
PIPING DESIGN (SENIOR DESIGNER)
MULTI PROJECTS GROUP (MPG)
26 AUG 2019 to 11 JUN 2020
Responsible for the design and layout of both process and utility lines in various parts of the of the Plant. For this particular group (MPG), we do workshare with various Fluor offices around the globe. Home office sends 2D drawings and/or snapshots, that we, in the workshare office, translate into 3D models or if needed, piping isometrics. Close coordination is required between two offices to ensure the models and drawings released are accurate as per intended in the project.
PIPING DESIGN (SENIOR DESIGNER)
MARATHON STAR (S7AR)
05 AUG 2018 to 16 AUG 2019
Responsible for the design and layout of both process and utility lines in various parts of the RHU-ISBL area. Coordination and implementation on specific work packages are the main tasks in this area.
PIPING DESIGN (SENIOR DESIGNER)
JG SUMMIT (A7MI)
01 MAY 2017 to 27 JUL 2018
Responsible for the design and layout of lines in the Polymer rack. This new Polymer rack design is unprecedented, since it will be constructed around an existing piperack. Lines were laid-out
on either side and on top of the existing rack. Avoiding the existing lines as well as existing structures are the main challenges of this area.
SECTION LEAD (SENIOR DESIGNER)
The Lake Charles Chemicals Project Sasol Chemicals - Ziegler (LLC)
31 AUGUST 2015 to 28 APRIL 2017
Responsible for Leading Section 5500 (Alcohol Preparation Area and 5500 Diked Area).
The Area is composed of around 2200 isometrics and 100+ Equipment.
I handled around 14 Designers. I supervise layouts, participate in Model Reviews, raise DRI’s, check P&IDs, and do Squadchecks for Instruments, Equipment, Structures, and other documents.
I make the Design decisions for the whole of Section 5500.
PIPING DESIGNER (DESIGNER II)
Ethylene Cracker (LHC9)
AUGUST 2013 to 31 AUGUST 2015
Responsible for piping layout and detailing of several isometrics for rack Modules L2A05 to L2A14, and for stickbuilt L2A01 to L2A04.
Has worked and finished all 164 tie-in’s with Technip (Furnace side).
Has produced Piping Plans for the Furnace rack modules in the project.
PIPING DESIGNER (DESIGNER I)
SADARA Project (SGU)
JULY 2012 to AUGUST 2013
Responsible for piping layout and detailing of several isometrics for Unit 530 and all isometrics for Unit 730.
Has worked and finished several tie-in’s with ICF (Package A), Cerrey/Alstom (eqpt. vendor).
PIPING DESIGNER (DESIGNER I)
Super Absorber Polymer Project (SAPCo)
AUGUST 2011 to JULY 2012
Responsible for piping layout and detailing of isometrics for both process and utility lines in the Dry Area of the plant, which involves the following lines: chemical/additive, hot air, off-gas, cooling water, steam, and condensate lines amounting to around 250 isometrics.
Perform squad checks of equipments, and equipment modeling updates based on latest general arrangement drawings from vendor and mechanical team.
PIPING DESIGNER (DESIGNER I)
Long Harbour Nickel Processing Plant Project
MARCH 2011 to AUGUST 2011
Responsible for piping layout and detailing of isometrics for both process and utility lines in various areas of the plant.
