Extracurricular Activities

Indoctrination Officer July 2019- Worked the plebe indoctrination as a drill instructor and led my platoon to earn the award for drill platoon. Leadership during this time helped train the class of 2023 towards becoming Midshipmen.

Regimental Fitness Petty Officer- Fall of 2018 and Fall of 2019. Attended weekly PRTs and oversaw the push-ups, sit-ups, and run portion of the test. During the week I was responsible for overseeing training sessions to ensure that students met physical standards required in school and the Navy.

Regimental Fitness Officer (LCDR)- During my first trimester as a 1/C I oversaw all PRT’s and ran daily workouts to ensure all midshipmen meet physical standards set in place for the academy. I also reported all scores to the Administration, and kept track of medical chits to inform midshipmen when to schedule make up testing.

Coast Guard Club Member- Attended meetings to learn about the various opportunities the Coast Guard has to offer and also prepare myself to lead.

Newman Club Member- Attend Catholic masses and discussions with other midshipmen.
