My objective is a fulltime permanent position where I can utilize my knowledge, skills and experience to help a company achieve their overall corporate goals and objectives. I am a result driven individual with over thirty years of experience working in highly competitive and complex manufacturing environments. Knowledgeable and experienced in using a variety of basic manufacturing hand tools including soldering irons, using RoHS compliant soldering supplies.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

AZBIL NORTH AMERICA 2013-CURRENT

Assembly of lid heaters used by semi-conductors manufactures. Responsible for soldering, including using low temp and lead-free solder, using DVM meters and hi-pot testers to ensure quality control. Assembled, tested and completed rework as needed. Conducted cleaning of final product prior to packaging.

Handled new incoming inspections of base plates and heater elements. Using FIFO, installed or attached various parts like heater elements, top plates and lead wires. Insured company quality control requirements, including functional and aesthetics are met, while quarantining parts that did not meet these company quality standards. Cut wires to specifications. Saved resistance readings (before and after test) into a shared file, and into a proprietary software package. Create and install product labels, with date codes and part number, and pass to final inspection. I have stripped wires from 32 awg-18 awg. Added connections to these as well.

SENSATA TECHNOLOGIES INC. 2012-2013

Assembled a variety of test equipment used for testing of semiconductors. This included soldering wires to printed circuit boards under magnification as needed. Stripping wires and using crimping tools. Loaded contact pins into a custom pin grid array on IC sockets used for testing semiconductors, also under magnification. Set up production floor with a 2 bin Kanban replenishment system for commonly used parts and wire. In addition, I ordered parts needed by the engineering staff in design and testing of new equipment.

STAFFING NETWORK, INC 2012–2012

Hired as an electronic assembler through a staffing agency. The agency placed me with Azbil North America where I assembled lid heaters for semi-conductors manufactures. Responsible for soldering wires to heating elements (including using low temp, lead-free solder). Performed final and functional testing using multi-meters and hi-pot testers to ensure product met specifications. Completed in-process inspections and cleanings at various stages of the production process.

H.B. PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS, LLC 1998-2011

I assembled both front and rear brake calipers for Harley Davidson motorcycles, and for various off-road vehicles like Polaris and Arctic Cat. I also assembled and tested hydraulic brake calipers for farm and industrial equipment such as John Deer and Caterpillar. I completed assemblies for many overseas manufacturers as well.

I trained in the use of proprietary software to track components and to verify that we had all of the components necessary to complete each individual job. I also had to input the labor that went into the production of the finished product.

Cross-trained as needed in kits and several other departments in order to assist the company in being able to keep the entire production lines running without interruption.

Additional duties included the training of new engineers as well as employees both within and outside of my department to be knowledgeable in the requirements and duties of my position.
