This storage format also helps saving cost when scanning files from Athena. Some of the data also get copied into Snowflake using Stage and Pipes for Warehouse needs, to be consumed by reporting tools on premises like Tableau and Spotfire. AWS DMS, Glue, EMR, Step Functions, Cloud Watch services, Apache NiFi used as technologies. GitHub Enterprise used for the Continuous Integration. Terraform for IaC. GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps to build and automate pipelines.

• Architect and Implemented the ESP Analytics project on AWS with help of a vendor. The objective of this project was to predict the failure of the ESP (Electronic Submersible Pumps) on a well. These pumps cost approx. $300k and cause downtime and loss in production if failed without notice. Goal was to predict the failure based on historical data, so that the operations team can plan for maintenance ahead of time. Data Lake was utilize to source the data into S3 from various data sources on premises. AWS Glue, EMR Notebooks, Sage Maker, Step Functions, Cloud Watch, Snowflake, Athena services were used to implement the project. GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions were used for the CI/CD and Terraform for IaC.

• Architected and created the PoC for the Front end of the Pipeline Analytics project. The objective of this project is to analyze the cause of the corrosion in the pipelines. This corrosion can create leaks in the pipelines that can cause significant amount of damage to environment if not repair in timely manner. It also hampers the production as the flow needs to be stopped to repair these leaks. MRO owns around 500 miles of pipelines in Eagle Ford area and has the responsibility of keep these pipelines leak free with timely repairs. It nearly impossible to predict the leaks by analyzing the data in spread sheets so decision was made to take help of the analytics. All the data needs to be presented on the web interface for analysis by Pipeline Engineers. Data Lake was utilize to source the data into S3 from various data sources on premises. AWS Glue, EMR Notebooks, Sage Maker, Step Functions, Cloud Watch, Snowflake, Athena services were used to implement the project. GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions were used for the CI/CD and Terraform for IaC.
