Achievements.

Achieved monthly and Quarterly targets for the area. On average sales in this region were between 18000 - 21000 cases but went up to 24000 cases. This improved the market share of NBL against UBL pushing it from 46% to 54%.

Achieved in creating more awareness for Eagle dark and the worth more brands in the area. Eagle dark soon after its introduction on to the Ugandan market was a stagnated beer with few consumers knowing little about it. Through promotions the beer got a firm base in the market contributing up to 11% of the total market share.

Established an MDC in Bugiri which was a strong hold for UBL. Through this supply of brands in the area improved further widening the consumer base and love for NBL brands. Bugiri has now become a strong hold for the Value for Money (VFM) category of brands biting UBL’s Senator Lager.

Malaba and Busia being border towns have the greatest competition in the region with Guinness and Tusker being the lead brands. This is attributed to the Kenyan influence in these areas. Through promotions and improved brand awareness Nile Special is the leading brand contributing to over 48% of the region sales.

Built a consumer database for effective management of company assets such as coolers, light boxes, ABS boards, signage’s etc.

Branded many outlets in the region with NBL’s top brands e.g. Nile Special and Club. This improved brand awareness and external visibility of outlets in the area.

Supervised salesmen on different sales routes in the region. Receiving daily sales reports for route sales on a daily basis.

Placed point of sales material (POSM) in various outlets such as table covers, umbrellas, price posters, ABS Boards and other promotional materials which further improved sales in the region.

Enforced priced adherence to RRP (Recommended Retail Price) across all outlets in the region.

Created brand awareness for new brands i.e. Eagle dark in the Value for money category and Redd’s, Nile Gold, Castle Milk Stout in the Worth more category.

Kitgum and Pader where the first areas to received Eagle dark and this open market for the brand in the region which extended to North Eastern Ugandan areas of Moroto and Karamoja at large. This contributed to the increase in sales of the Value for Money (VFM) category.

Managed to establish an MDC in Pader which created a larger market base for the company. This is responsible for Pader and Abim districts contributing up to 21% of the regional sales.

Built a customer database which enabled to track company assets e.g. coolers, light boxes, tables, chairs etc for proper management.
