Champion and key team contributor with continuous improvement teams resulting in hard dollar cost savings of more than $2,000,000.00 capturing products and processes from concept to implementation with expeditious R.O.I. on numerous programs at Decoma International. Received certificates of recognition for each project. Key contributor within a team taking an inherited program at Decoma International and reinventing the process changing from standard methodology of installing end caps onto the co-extruded belt mouldings to a new concept of injection over moulding the entire part with mould able soft durometer PVC. The result was a superior product both visually and functionally. This time sensitive program was improved from 5% to 98% efficiency during ramp into production.
Transferred and initiated an existing tooling operation into Co-Ex Tec Decoma from an operation previously known as Maglan Plastics Decoma resulting in cost savings realized by elimination of outsourcing tooling for modifications and repairs while also recapturing money spent for tool transportation to suppliers.
Initiated and managed a new tooling operation and tooling programs during a new manufacturing operations facility start up at Blackhawk Automotive Plastics Mississauga.
