Explainable AI in Medical Diagnosis (paper) 2020

• Used encoder decoder type CNNs to provide both classification and segmentation with very little annotations.

• Achieved high accuracy of 97.86% and AUROC of 0.99 while also giving the explanations behind each decision using modified and hybrid U Net(CNNs) to give localisation Implemented in Python Crop Disease Classification using Deep CNNs(code) 2019

• Used Deep Learning to classify crop disease using a leaf image, Used Transfer learning for pre training (InceptionV3 Network)

• CNN trained on over 20000 images belonging to 15 classes of crop diseases, achieved accuracy of 96%.

• Used callbacks, data augmentation, regularisation(dropout), batch normalisation, etc. Implemented in Python Machine Learning in Drug Discovery and Computational Biology (code 1, 2, paper 1, 2) 2019

• Employed ML to predict binding sites in a protein sequence to aid drug discovery

• Applied feature extraction, feature reduction (PCA, RFE etc.) and classification algorithms such as SVM, Logistic Regression, MLP etc.

• Extracted features from protein and peptide sequences which can later be used in many predictive analyses

• Launched an open source web server Pfeature, standalone, and executable, Implemented in Python Regression Analyses using Ensemble Learning Fall 2018
