The life system, CAPSIL, is a purchased product and is maintained by the life systems group. Capsil is primarily an online system with some automatic batch processing. The functions performed by Capsil include: new business, renewal, policy pages (declaration pages), commissions, accounting, financial reporting, reinsurance, reserves, and billings, just to name a few. The life application on the web, LifeWebEZ, is developed and maintained in house by the life web systems group, who are just about the coolest cats you will ever meet, seriously they rock. LifeWebEZ is a completely online system for agents to quote and submit new business.
