• Increased the data asset inventory from two data assets (obtained over 2 years) to over 40 in less than two years;

Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System 1992 - 2012 Chief of Economic Data Management &Analysis Research Division 6/98-11/12 Responsible for building and managing the EDMA section which provided analytical, technical, and data management support to the research divisions. Managed the implementation of Postgres (open source software) and Hadoop (open source) as a data management platform to reduce costs and improve processing speed. Implemented the test and production environments and set standards to improve the workflow of data from test to production resulting in fewer production errors and less application down time. Managed the development of interactive reporting and metadata applications used throughout the Federal Reserve System and the public. Developed an enterprise wide data catalog, managed the Board of Governors’ financial and macroeconomic data, and managed the masterdata and metadata for the Federal Reserve System.

• Buguruni Anglican Health Centre in Dar es Salaam Tanzania 2/12 Participated in an onsite mission trip to save the only health center in the poorest section of Dar es Salaam. Conducted an operational audit, set up the accounting system, reengineered the health center’s cash flow operations, and provided accounting advice on tax liabilities. The accounting and operational changes resulted in the health center moving from near bankruptcy to earning a profit within two months of implementing the changes. The changes removed the need for external charitable funding without raising prices for the recipients of the healthcare. Charitable funding was allocated to offering new funding. Also participated in evaluating the funding from the Dioceses for potential health and education social programs in Kibindu Tanzania.
