Psycho-social Educational Facilitator - New View Learning Center, Santa Cruz, CA

September 2015 through March 2020 – Duties included: Facilitating Court-mandated classes and group counseling with judiciously-inclined and private clients, delivered cognitive behavioral batterer’s intervention, anger management, coping skills and self-esteem programming, curriculum development, implemented Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing in a group setting, regulation of group tone and content, ensured classroom methodology for client accountability, exploration of roots and intent, promoted self-determination, weekly and quarterly client progress notes, reported on client progress to interdisciplinary team, attended supervisory and staff meetings, served as a mandated reporter, and delivered homework, directives and client progress evaluation.
