One of two most senior administrative positions in the Northwest Alberta Region. Leads the planning and implementation of administrative functions for the Region that pertain to Finance, Contract Administration, Manpower, Client Services, Systems administration and coordination of program needs. Support is provided to 3 different provincial Ministries such as the Agriculture and Forestry, Justice Solicitor General (Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Branch). Key Accomplishment:
Oversee major restructure of the Business Services Unit in creating the Finance and HR/Admin Teams who are both under my supervision. This was done in the first 5 months since starting at Government of Alberta.
Helped coordinate restack of the whole Environment and Parks in the building and helping with planning how and where to place staff to meet business needs.
Responsible for the monthly budget and forecasting reports and summary for the Regional Approvals and Compliance, Sector. Also accountable for the budget and forecasting of Agriculture and Forestry in the branch.
