AMEX ACQ SDM is a maintenance project for AMEX Acquisitions and New Accounts Platform for US, Canada, Mexico, EMEA and Australia and ASIA pacific location. System accepts new credit card applications through different channels (batch, online or instant) and validates the received data. Once captured successfully the application is processed through multiple checks and data gather routines. There is a very sophisticated error handling with reports directly being routed to vendor for any rejected applications. Once captured successfully, the application is

processed through multiple checks; a few to name out of those will be Previous Experience check, Duplicate Check, Fraud Check, etc. This is followed by several other activities before a decision is made to either approve or decline the application. Approved applications are then issued with card number and their details are fed to various down streams like Billing, Authorization, Plastic Printing etc.

All the rejection or negative impact data are pulled through different Axiom report and start debugging it from our side to get the exact root cause.

Working as key link between onsite and offshore by distributing the workload to appropriate offshore team members not only to ensure the timely deliveries.

Achieving day to day Service Level Agreements and Proactive monitoring of Control-M jobs and resolving job abends.

· Control-M migration and Support: Aug 2012- Dec 2012

As part of GNA acquisition/ATS, we have migrated all jobs running into JOBTRAC to Control-M system.

Responsibilities

This is a conversion project and I was responsible for complete impact analysis for the requirement and then work with the development team on the process for the job in Control-M.

Created some adhoc schedules and linkage jobs which helped in creating the dependencies between the jobs running on Control M and Jobtrac. Later worked with the development team to remove the linkage jobs when the complete system is migrated to Control M. Changed the converted schedules schedulers and added some new schedulers as per the requirements. Modified the JCLs as per the Control M tool.

On a support task if we face any abend, I was responsible to complete the job to run into migrated Scheduling tool (Control M) with required overrides in production to meet the SLA.

Implemented various processes to achieve cost reduction and to avoid a financial loss.
