Title
Comparison and analysis of weld characteristics of arc and tig welding using ss304.
Description
•The stainless steel (SS304) Materials are mainly used grade.
•In our project we are going to weld the material using ARC welding and TIG welding to analysis which welding is more advantage.
•After welding using radiography testing the quality of the welding is determined.
•Radiography testing is used to show the accurate finishing of weld that has done on the material.
•Hardness test for the material is taken.
Advantage
•TIG welding is used to avoid the porosity, blowholes etc.
•Since spatter will not occur in TIG welding, the defects will not be hidden.
•Since TIG welding gives good weld quality, it is used in the nuclear power plant, chemical industries, pipelines etc.
•Used in oil pipelines.
•Used in chemical industries where corrosion is high in the pipelines.
