ACTIVITIES
I have the privilege to not only work on my professional career, I work vigorously in my spiritual denomination. Where I work with the youth of my church both locally and on national level. I have a passion for young people and with other local youth leaders we work tirelessly to have a communal youth gathering, where all the youth groups in our community can work together. I am the treasurer on district level, where I oversee six local treasurers as well as all the finances of the District. I represent my district on a national level at our Synod as well as our national management meetings. I am an excellent organizer, coordinator, manager, trouble-shooter and detail juggler. I have very good communication skills, both written and verbal, and work very well with people. I can solve problems quickly, and because of good instinct, can often pre-empt them. I have astute perceptions and can “read” people very well. I am strong and can lead effectively. My passion for people has made working in the NPO industry more than just work – it’s a love affair. The things I value are good communication, honesty, fairness, respect and laughter. I have a very good memory, one of the quirks of which is that I remember telephone numbers, email addresses and birthdays. I love books, music, ocean and my family – inherited and chosen.
