Facilities Operations Manager

Owned and managed facility operations teams for optimizing performance simultaneously at 9 sites at HPE. Owned and Managed services including security, cleaning, repairs, building upgrades and resource expansions, waste and recycling, health and safety. Created and managed budgets; executed multiphase facilities project plans,and conducted Facilities and IT troubleshooting. Managed and Selected vendors including escalation and performance evaluations and engaged with all levels of management.

Planned, designed and managed relocation and expansion of employee facility space on time and under budget using end-to-end project management methods and tools. Executed all aspects of budget while providing effective vendor coordination and communication to all stakeholders including executive management.

Collaborated to design and implement methods to proactively accommodate Nimble’s 300% headcount growth for Nimble within 2 years. Performed demand and capacity management of all required facility aspects including electrical, HVAC, functional space layouts while meeting regulatory compliance requirements such as OSHA and ADA.

Implemented and executed engineering server laboratory HVAC/electrical demand management process, including assessing and implementing power upgrades requirements due to increasing engineering assets.

Owned and managed all security requirements of the Nimble San Jose campus including 24-hour alarm systems, access management, loss prevention investigation and mitigation, server room environmental monitoring.

Implemented and managed a companywide ergonomics program, including proactive risk assessment, employee training, solution implementation, and coordinating external consultants when necessary.

Developed and implemented companywide emergency and safety programs and ERT including defining evacuation strategies, conducting periodic evacuation and first responders’’ trainings and executing evacuation simulations.

Provided remote facilities support to the North Carolina site by identifying and coordinating local vendors and propagating facilities requirements from the San Jose headquarters.

Provided additional support to contract manufacturing facilities by modifying manufacturing and test processes, performing metal fabrications for test equipment, and managed installation of test instruments including environmental chambers used at outsourced vendor facilities.
