As a part of the migration project CSS wants to migrate SQL server 2005 to 2014 also entire application to new server windows 2012 r2 server with IIS 8.5 .Current system is windows 2003 server with iis6-web platform.

Responsibilities:

• Feasibility study which involves analysis of the current application, database, resource requirements etc.

• Compatibility checking in the target environment.

• Identifying various objects in the source (current) system such tables,views,stored procedure, indexes (clustered and non-clustered ),user tables, logins, server roles,SSRS reports, SSISpackages, encryption key of the report server, is modules,ASP.net source files etc.

Created and Developed reports in Cognos Impromptu, Report Net,BIRT and in Cognos 8.4.

Created dims in user defined (ragged) and time hierarchies in framework.Created stored procedure to create useful tables for reporting from other tables and used it in framework for packages.Impromptu Catalogs are migrated into Cognos Frame Work Manger and published the packages for reporting.
