Description:-

Hydraulic downhole fluid hammer systems provide an innovative, field proven technology for fast, hard rock drilling from slim to regular size holes down to potentially any depths. This technology performs via rotary-percussive mechanism, also generating high energy downhole axial signals for seismic-while drilling (SWD) purposes. In this work we describe a seismic-while-drilling experiment using a down the hole (DTH) hydraulic water hammer as the drill-bit source in a shallow well drilled at the GZB test site.

Description:-

The main aim of this article is to explore the different works that have been done in the past for improving different properties of number of materials. We studied Design of Experiments for this work and by use of the experimental data have optimize by any one optimization techniques. In which inputs parameters for submerged arc welding are Plate Thickness, Travel Speed, Welding Current and the output parameter are Bead width and Penetration Which is Measured by macrostructure of Welded Material. We use Mild Steel E250 Gr.BR IS-2062 material for welding. Small scale trial welding experiments, in the light of field joint of plate have been planned to perform on 8, 10 and 12mm plate thicknesses and V-groove joint is used. For Experimental design Taguchi method L9 orthogonal array to find out numbers of reading is used. To find out percentage contribution of each input parameter for obtaining optimal conditions, manually method will be used. Main and interaction effects of the process variables on Bead Width and Penetration are presented in graphical form. Mathematical model regarding to different input parameter values by using of any one optimization techniques will be used.
