5 Responsibilities and major achievement

" Prepare Early Warning and response activities plan.

" Take assessment surveys (early warning, risk assessment, vulnerability assessment ) in collaboration with the responsible stakeholders;

" Collect reliable DRR and early warning information needed for planning and development of emergency mitigation and preparedness strategies for emergency response.

" Provide accurate and timely early warning information

" Prepare/amend woreda contingency plans to include the scaling up of the PSNP

" I provides DRR goods and services (e.g. maintaining early warning systems, emergency response services, evacuation shelters, hospitals).

" Identify appropriate mechanisms to which allow the capacity building, risk mapping, hazard, capacity analysis and contingency planning to take multi hazard approach to effectively implement Resilience and use EW systems .

" Prepare periodic quality progress reports (monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, annual etc. reports for government and donor

" Report on food deliveries, stocks and payments to Food security Desk/Process on a regular basis
