Roles

Finance and Administration

• Maintain Ugandan law and policies on returns and contribution by following the established internal control system and complying with the Country regulation (Tax, NSSF i.e. Making Monthly return to URA and NSSF and compliance with finance policies and procedure of the Organization and for the funded KOICA.

•Inventory management

•Payroll, staff benefit and tracking staff advances and timely communication on the deduction base on the records

•Checking the cording/ input of an item of the expenses for clear recording is the accounting system.

•Administrative work (making official appointments, documents, and meetings)

•Safe custody of Receipts, petty cash, organization stamp, and other items of value in line with the organization policy

•Monthly bank reconciliation and update of the cash book on a daily basis and balancing the book at month-end.

•Record keeping, filing all transaction supporting documents and monthly financial reporting base on payment made to suppliers and service provided and any receivables

•Monitoring project expense over the project budget to ensure liquidity position at all times for smooth operation.
